Operating out of Boston, the Deep State delivers dark, brash American rock n’ roll with focused and aggressive delivery. The trio—Kenyon King (vocals/guitar), Patti Ripton (bass), and Tyler Brown (drums)—produces a sound rooted in the grit of the late-’80s and ‘90s underground.

Their debut LP was forged amidst a global pandemic and while tracking, the recording studio burned to the ground. Later that year, the band followed up with the acclaimed Live at 1357—a one-take, full-bleed recorded capture of their live energy. 

the Deep State has recently completed their second full-length album—release date  MAY 30, 2026.  Their second LP further refines a sound that is driving, unapologetic, and defiant.
